Our Staff

Kate Knox (she/her) is a fourth year student who will be graduating with her Bachelor's in English with a minor in Art in May. After graduation, she will be participating in Truman State University's English graduate program, along with working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the university. She is the head editor for this edition of the journal, and is proud to once again be a part of making Cottey creative voices heard. In her free time, Kate enjoys watching YouTube, spending time on her family farm with her animals, and enjoying the company of her friends. 

Cheyenne Main (she/her) is a third-year Cottey student who is a double major in History and English. In her free time, she loves reading, writing, and playing the guitar. Her favorite part of working on this journal has been getting the opportunity to work with others and post the incredible pieces Cottey students have created this year.

Audrey Novinger (she/her) is a first-year student working towards an Associate of Arts degree at Cottey College. She is part of this year's team and enjoys writing and working with other student creatives. In her free time, Audrey enjoys writing, crafting, and playing the flute. She also loves to snuggle with her cats back home!

Janet Reed (she/her) is the faculty sponsor of The Image Tree, a job made easier by the fantastic work of this incredible staff. She teaches creative writing for Cottey College. She is the author of Blue Exhaust (FLP, 2019) and is currently working on an MFA in Creative Writing -- Poetry at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She also holds an MA in English - Literature Emphasis from Pittsburg State University.
